3 Weeks 4 Days

So I know that It has been awhile since I posted pics but if you heard my reasons why you would excuse the delay. I will not bore you with the details but I will give you the laundry list
1. Two bouts of mastitis
2. Approx 15 blocked milk ducts (not all at one time but over the course of several days until I figured out how to beat the system).
3. A severe case of exhaustion that led to two full days of fever ranging from 99 to 104 degrees. Alternating chills/sweats. Thanks to my awesome husband Steve and my mom I made it thru and am on the mend
4. Most likely the Gestational Diabetes has led into Type II Diabetes. But not to worry, with diet and exercise and continued monitoring of my sugars I should be able to control it.
Please don't pity me. Just pray for all of us. Thank God we have a fairly easy baby. If she were colicky or overly fussy or difficult to soothe or didn't love to nurse we would be lost.
Without further ado, here are new pics of our Birdie. Yes, that is her new nickname given by me and Steve. Seriously she has feathers for hair and before she launches into an all out cry she makes these little sounds that sound like a bird call.
